With Serhou Guirassy linked to a number of big clubs, VfB Stuttgart have reportedly identified a potential replacement for the Guinea international.
The 27-year-old has been in red-hot form this season, scoring 16 goals in his first 10 games in all competitions.
Guirassy is said to have a release clause of just under €20 million, and with an exit either this winter or next summer looking likely, it makes sense for the Bundesliga outfit to prepare for his departure.
According to Kicker, the Swabians are keeping an eye on Panathinaikos striker Fotis Ioannidis, who has scored eight goals in 20 games this season.
However, Stuttgart could face competition for Ioannidis from other clubs, including Eintracht Frankfurt.
