Hoffenheim striker Maximilian Beier could earn his first call-up to the German national team for next month’s trip to the United States, according to Sport Bild.

The German publication puts Beier at the top of a list of four strikers, who could be called up for the first time as Nagelsmann looks to name his first Germany squad.

Kevin Behrens (Union Berlin), Davie Selke (FC Köln) and Robert Glatzel (Hamburger SV) are also said to be under consideration by the new Germany coach.

Beier has been in red-hot form for Hoffenheim, finding the back of the net four times in his first five Bundesliga games this season.

The 20-year-old’s performances have not only attracted the interest of Nagelsmann, but also Everton and Brentford, according to Sport Bild.
