Chelsea have made contact for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, who has also been linked with Barcelona and Juventus.
It has been reported recently that Koulibaly has been waiting for a move to Barcelona, who are yet to signal that they can afford him.
Sky Italia have now claimed that Koulibaly is in the shortlist of defenders that Chelsea currently have and they aren’t the only club interested in him, as both Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain also like the Senegalese star. But the Blues have now made contact with the entourage of the centre-back, whose contract at the Partenopei runs out in the summer of 2023.
The Blues have also been heavily linked with a move for Matthijs de Ligt and Milan Skriniar in recent days and it seems as if Koulibaly is also one of the players that they are keeping tabs on. Lorenzo Insigne has already left Napoli, with Fabian Ruiz also linked with a move away from the side.
