Bayern Munich will reportedly be without Kim Min-jae when they face 3. Liga side Preussen Münster in the DFB-Pokal tonight.

According to Bild, the South Korean international hasn’t traveled to Münster with his teammates due to a minor injury.

The injury leaves Bayern with few options in central defense, as Matthijs de Ligt is already out with a knee problem and Dayot Upamecano is doubtful.

With young centre-back Tarek Buchmann also sidelined, 20-year-old Luca Denk, who usually plays for the reserves, trained with the professionals on Monday.

Joshua Kimmich and/or Konrad Laimer could be called upon to fill in at the back to help cope with the absentees.
