Negotiations between the German Football Association (DFB) and Julian Nagelsmann regarding the vacant position as Germany coach seem to have hit a snag.
According to Kicker, the DFB has offered Nagelsmann a salary of €4 million per year, but the former Bayern coach is demanding €7 million.
That is the salary he is currently receiving from Bayern Munich, who still have the 36-year-old on their payroll after dismissing him as coach in March.
Kicker reports that Nagelsmann’s camp has explored the possibility of Bayern making up the difference between the €4 million offered by the DFB and the €7 million demanded by the coach, but the German champions have closed the door on this.
