Speaking exclusively with Sky Germany, Randal Kolo Muani has expressed his gratitude for Eintracht Frankfurt but hopes they let him move to PSG this summer.
The 24-year-old forward has seen two bids for him rejected by Frankfurt, the second being €80m – a club record fee for the Eagles.
It’s no secret that Kolo Muani wishes to go to PSG. Personal terms have been agreed for some time, but Frankfurt are holding out for a fee closer to €100m.
“I owe a lot to Eintracht Frankfurt. I have taken the fans to my heart and have always behaved in a very professional manner. I always did everything for the club until the end,” explained Kolo Muani.
The striker is clearly grateful for everything Frankfurt and their fans have done for him. However, he went on to explain:
“It is no secret that Paris Saint-Germain made a record offer for me. A move to Paris is now a unique opportunity for me. I would like to move to Paris, and I also informed those responsible. I hope and wish that Frankfurt will agree to the offer from Paris and that this change will now be made possible for me.”
Another key factor to any possible transfer could be PSG’s Hugo Ekitiké. The 21-year-old forward could be coming the other way, as well as an additional fee should Kolo Munai head to Paris. With the deadline closing this Friday, this only makes sense from a Frankfurt point of view.
This transfer will certainly be one to watch right up until the deadline. Frankfurt can’t afford to lose such a key player with nobody already set to replace him.
