Dortmund reportedly in talks to sign Berisha

Augsburg’s Mergim Berisha is the latest striker to be linked with a move to Dortmund.

Mergim Berisha has reportedly emerged as a candidate in Borussia Dortmund’s search for a new striker.


According to Sky Germany, talks are already underway to sign the 25-year-old Augsburg striker.

Berisha is said to be available for a fee of €15 million. Augsburg turned his loan from Fenerbahce into a permanent deal for €4 million at the end of last season.

Augsburg coach Enrico Maaßen recently confirmed that Berisha wants to leave the club this summer.

Dortmund have also been linked with a move for RB Leipzig’s Yussuf Poulsen, but appear to have turned their attention to Berisha after learning that Die Roten Bullen are reluctant to let the Dane go.
