Bayern ahead of Dortmund in race to sign Bella-Kotchap

Sky Germany reports that Bayern Munich are ahead of Dortmund in the race to sign Armel Bella-Kotchap from Southampton.

Bella-Kotchap to Southampton on record deal

Bayern Munich are in pole position to sign Southampton FC’s Armel Bella-Kotchap, according to Sky Germany.

The German champions are said to be in talks with Southampton over a possible loan move for the 21-year-old.

Bella-Kotchap is seen as a possible replacement for wantaway defender Benjamin Pavard, with Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah also an option.

Borussia Dortmund are also said to be interested in Bella-Kotchap, but Sky reports that Bayern are ahead of their rivals in the race to sign the Southampton defender.
