Roma are interested in the possibility of signing Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
The Frenchman was linked with a move to Lazio and the move seemed close, but the goalkeeper rejected the move and the Roman side moved on to other targets.
La Repubblica state that with Lloris’ future still very much up in the air, Lazio’s fierce rivals Roma are interested in the veteran. They are already making their move for the ex-Lyon man and have been in contact with Tottenham over a move and contacts have been rather frenetic. They have also been in touch with the 36-year-old’s entourage as they work to sign him.
Tiago Pinto wants to make sure that he reunites Lloris with Jose Mourinho, who managed him during his time at Spurs not too long ago. Lloris is already out of the Spurs project and the Lilywhites are expected to let him leave without asking for a transfer fee.
