Inter are now set to seal a move for Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard, after days of waiting.
It was reported yesterday that Inter had set a deadline for them to seal the move for Pavard, which was being held up because Bayern were not able to find a replacement.
Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that the move will go through, with Bayern having identified Lutsharel Geertruida as a replacement. Pavard will soon undergo a medical with the Nerazzurri, after contacts between the two clubs took place to confirm that the move will go through.
Pavard will undergo a medical with the club tomorrow but he will land in the city today. Initially, Thomas Tuchel had spoken to Pavard about potentially staying in Bavaria for another season but his contract is running out next summer and that would’ve meant he would leave next summer on a free transfer, leaving the club with no transfer fee.
