Sports Zone are reporting that Argentina U20 international Ignacio Miramón (20) is set to join Ligue 1 side Lille OSC in a €7m move.
Miramón, who is contracted to Argentinian side Gimnasia until the end of 2025, has three appearances for the Argentina U20 side and is set for a new adventure in Europe. After failing with a €6m move for Miramón, Lille have reached an agreement on a fee of around €7m, despite the Argentinian side initially being insistent on a fee of around €10m.
Having reached a compromise on the fee, Miramón has already travelled to Paris, where he has successfully undergone his medical ahead of the transfer to Les Dogues. The Argentinian international’s move to Lille is therefore imminent. Following the departures of André Gomes and Jonas Martin, Paulo Fonseca’s side have been desperate to recruit midfield reinforcements. The former returned to parent club Everton, whilst the latter left on a free transfer, joining Ligue 1 rivals Stade Brestois.
