According to Le Parisien, Paris Saint-Germain have fixed their asking price for Kylian Mbappé at €200m. Despite being able to table a total offer of that value, completing a deal at that price is proving problematic for Real Madrid when the France captain’s contract bonuses and wages are also taken into account.
Florentino Perez will be looking to complete a deal worth a complete €200m for Mbappé, including his wages and contract bonuses. With the clock ticking down towards the end of the window, Madrid could still make an offer in the final two weeks of the window.
Les Parisiens risk losing their star man on a free transfer if they fail to sell him this summer. Therefore, Los Blancos will be looking to test their transfer stance as PSG’s position weakens towards the end of the window. Luis Enrique would like to have Mbappé in his squad for his first season as PSG coach, but the Frenchman is currently training away from the first team.
