Napoli closing in on move for Brazilian defender Natan from Bragantino

According to Sky in Italy, Napoli appear to inching ever closer to the signing of Brazilian defender Natan.

The 22 year old centre half has agreed a long term contract and will join the current Scudetto holders for a fee of around €10million from Red Bull owned Bragantino in Brazil.

The player is allegedly on his way to Naples and will undergo a medical with the club on Sunday before the official signing of his contract and club announcement.

Napoli’s new boss Rudi Garcia will be pleased to bring in a centre half following the departure of one of last season’s key men in the shape of Kim Min-Jae.

Natan should slot into a centre back pool nicely alongside the likes of Amir Rrahmani, Juan Jesus and Leo Ostigard.

Natan will become Napoli’s second new signing of the summer following the arrival of goalkeeper Elia Caprile from Bari, who was then immediately loaned to Empoli as a replacement for Tottenham bound Guglielmo Vicario.
