Juventus are looking for some time from Chelsea in their move to sign Romelu Lukaku this summer.
Marco Conterio has reported that contacts between the Blues and the Bianconeri are constantly ongoing for the Belgian but the deal is far from done and there is no agreement over a transfer fee. New Juventus sporting director Cristiano Guintoli is ready to fly to London to speak to Chelsea but that will only happen after the Bianconeri return from the United States.
Chelsea are currently in a hurry to get rid of the striker and they are trying to make sure that the sale goes through quickly. But Juventus are not in a position to do that, as they first need to sell Dušan Vlahović to make room for the Belgian. Once the Serbian goes away from Juve, the permanent move for Lukaku will open up.
Chelsea are now not interested in loaning out the player and only want to sell him permanently, that is why a big sale is needed at Juve.
