Bundesliga side Bochum have today announced the signing of 23-year-old Jordi Osei-Tutu on a three-year contract, the Englishman joins on a free transfer.
“I’m happy to be back in Bochum and at VfL,” said Osei-Tutu. “The last few years have been a bit more difficult for me. I can’t wait to play in front of the fans again and get to know my new team – I still know some of the players. The Bundesliga will be a new challenge.”
Osei-Tutu returns for a second spell at Bochum, playing for the Ruhrstadion club in 2019/20. The Englishman, who played predominantly on the wing that season, scored five and created three in 22 games.
“We know Jordi Osei-Tutu very well, the memories of his skills and strengths are still very fresh in everyone’s mind,” said sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz. “Speed, dynamism and technique are what set him apart. Jordi has matured further, his potential is still enormous. We are optimistic that he will make the leap to the Bundesliga.”
