Bayern Munich are ready to launch a bid for Harry Kane, according to Florian Plettenberg.
Talks between the forward’s family and the club have progressed well over the last few weeks. Bayern have been given the green light from head coach Thomas Tuchel and are now ready to submit an official bid.
The club are just waiting for the England international to tell Tottenham Hotspur he wishes to leave the club and join Bayern. What’s more, Bayern are willing to meet Spurs’ demands for the prized possession. The deal cost around €100m in including add-ons.
While Kane experienced a disappointing season with Tottenham, the club captain still found a way to shine with 32 goals and five assists in 49 games in all competitions. This season he has broken two tremendous records, becoming Tottenham and England’s all-time top-scorers in what has been a remarkable career.
A move to Bayern would see Kane fight for a first career league title which is the only blemish against the Tottenham captain.
