Leicester and Everton make contact with PSG over Ayman Kari transfer

RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins is reporting that Leicester City and Everton are both interested in Paris Saint-Germain’s Ayman Kari (18).

Kari, a France U19 international midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at FC Lorient. During that time, the midfielder made five appearances for Les Merlus although none of those appearances came from the start. However, the Breton club want to retain the player on a further loan deal with an option to make the move permanent. PSG have already agreed a deal with Lorient, which includes a €5m purchase option. A buy-back clause has been negotiated into the deal.

However, whilst Lorient have a march on their competitors, Leicester City and Everton are both interested in Kari and have already begun discussions with PSG. The former were relegated to the Championship on the final day of last season, whilst the latter narrowly avoided the drop thanks to a victory on a final-day victory over Bournemouth. The player himself has yet to make a decision on his future.
