Gonçalo Guedes is moving closer to departing Valencia this summer, according to Matteo Moretto.
Roma want to sign the Portuguese forward and Carles Pérez could be part of the deal between the clubs.
Guedes is also attracting interest from elsewhere. He has however given the go-ahead to move to Roma, who have been in pole position from the start to land the Portuguese international.
Jose Mourinho has approved the deal. According to Marca, Valencia started the negotiations asking for €40m, an amount that Roma will not pay.
Even with the differences, the transfer has the support of agent Jorge Mendes, who is working to get both clubs to agree and close the deal before the end of June.
New Valencia manager Gennaro Gattuso is reportedly satisfied with the deal involving Pérez.
Valencia majority shareholder Peter Lim wants to sell Valencia’s key players Guedes, Carlos Soler and, if possible, José Luis Gayà.
Atlético Madrid are interested in landing Soler from Los Che.
