Werder Bremen have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Naby Keita on a free transfer from Liverpool.
Earlier today, reports emerged that Werder Bremen are trying to bring former RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita back to Germany.
The German newspaper Bild has now gone a step further, claiming that Werder have agreed personal terms with the player, who is out of contract at Liverpool and available on a free transfer.
According to the German tabloid, Keita will sign a contract with the Green and Whites until 2026, which will see him earn €1.5 million per year.
Keita made just 13 appearances for Liverpool last season. ‘The Reds’ paid €60 million to sign him from RB Leipzig back in 2018.
