If Hasan Salihamidzic were to lose his job at Bayern Munich, the only alternative would be Bastian Schweinsteiger, claims AZ.

Hasan Salihamidzic’s job as Bayern Munich’s board member for sport has been called into question after a tumultuous and disappointing 2022/23 campaign for the German champions.
However, Salihamidzic is firmly in the saddle, mainly due to a lack of alternatives, according to AZ.
The report claims that there is only one person who could threaten Salihamidzic’s job at the moment: Club legend Bastian Schweinsteiger, who is currently working as a TV pundit.
If Schweinsteiger were to show interest in the job, Bayern would “definitely consider hiring the 38-year-old,” according to the report.
However, Schweinsteiger’s lack of experience in such an important role at a big club like Bayern could be an obstacle.
