Several reports claim that Sadio Mané hit Leroy Sané in the face in Bayern’s dressing room last night.

Sadio Mané punched Leroy Sané in the face after Bayern Munich’s 3-0 loss to Manchester City last night, according to Bild, Sky Germany and Sport1.


Mané is said to have hit Sané on the lip, causing it to bleed and swell.

It’s reported that the two players had an altercation on the pitch in the 83rd minute, which led to the incident in the dressing room.

Mané ran into space to receive a through ball instead of staying back to receive it. Sané, who was highly motivated to play against his former team, became angry and started to argue with Mané.

Mané is expected to be punished for the attack on Sané, with Sky claiming that all possible consequences are being discussed.

Bayern have yet to comment on the incident.
