Sport1 reports that Eintracht Frankfurt have withdrawn their offer to extend the contract of Daichi Kamada.
Consequently, the Japanese international will leave the club on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Borussia Dortmund are thought to be in pole position to sign him, but no final decision has been made.
Eintracht have been trying to extend the 26-year-old’s contract for some time, but he has been reluctant to sign a new deal.
Kamada has made a total of 167 appearances for Eintracht, scoring 37 goals and providing 31 assists.
