VfL Wolfsburg central defender Maxence Lacroix is the latest player to be linked with Eintracht Frankfurt.
After winning the Europa League and reaching the last 16 of the Champions League, the Eintracht Frankfurt’s reputation and finances have reached a new level.
As a result, the Bundesliga outfit are now in the market for players that would have been unthinkable two or three years ago.
One of them is Maxence Lacroix, according to Sport Bild, who reports that the Wolfsburg centre-back is a target for Eintracht.
Lacroix still has two years left on his contract with Wolfsburg and would therefore cost a hefty fee.
Eintracht are said to have already finalized a €9 million deal for Royal Antwerp center back William Pacho.
