Nico Schlotterbeck and Kai Havertz have been forced to return home from the German national team camp.
As confirmed by the German Football Association (DFB), Havertz is ill, while Schlotterbeck is battling a muscle problem in his left thigh.
Both Schlotterbeck and Havertz started Saturday’s 2-0 friendly win over Peru, in which the latter missed a penalty.
Germany have another friendly on the horizon on Tuesday when they take on Belgium at the RheinEnergieStadion in Köln.
