Real Sociedad have announced the signing of Mohamed-Ali Cho (18) from French club Angers on a deal until 2027.
“Real Sociedad have reached an agreement with Angers SCO for the transfer of Mohamed-Ali Cho. Real, in turn, has reached an agreement with the attacker until the end of the 26-27 season,” the club said in its statement.
With Mohamed-Ali Cho, Real Sociedad have signed an explosive and powerful player.
Cho is considered to be one of the great talents of French football. He made his Ligue 1 debut at just 16 years of age and at just 18 years of age has already accumulated more than fifty games, scoring four goals.
RB Leipzig, Marseille, Real Betis and AC Milan were all intersted. Cho’s potential is also evident from his inclusion among the 100 nominees for the Golden Boy award for the best young players in Europe, which last season was won by Barcelona’s Pedri.
Real will pay €12 million to Angers, making him the third most expensive signing in the history of the club.
