Benjamin Pavard’s agent, Joseph Mohan, is delighted with how things have developed for his client at Bayern Munich since the turn of the year.
In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, Mohan reveals that talks about a possible extension of Pavard’s contract beyond 2024 will take place after Bayern’s Champions League quarter-final matches against Manchester City next month.
“A lot has changed since Nagelsmann moved him from right back to his natural centre-back position. He has rediscovered serenity and is happy,” Mohan said in the interview.
“Anything can happen in football, as I always say, you never know. But what’s clear now is that Benjamin is playing in the position where he belongs, and things are changing for him as well.
“I can say that we’ll meet and talk after the two important Champions League games, but the relationship with coach Nagelsmann is excellent. Benjamin himself confirmed this.”
Pavard, 26, joined Bayern from Stuttgart in 2019.
