FCU squad captain Christopher Trimmel expressed the hope that his team will be able to halt a form slide tomorrow against guests Eintracht Frankfurt, but will be unable to help die Eisernen out on the pitch. Union trainer Urs Fischer revealed that his skipper has been taken ill and very likely won’t be able to recover in time.
Croatian international Josip Juranovic has played in Trimmel’s place in the last two games. Trimmel would have almost certainly been due a start in Fischer’s wingback rotative scheme. Instead, Jurnanovic will likely get the nod again. Paul Jaeckel could also play on the right-wing-rail if Fischer truly believes that Juranovic is in need of a break.
