Union Berlin have signed their sixth player of this summer’s transfer window as Miloš Pantović joins on a tree transfer from Bochum.
The Serbian forward who was born in Munich can play anywhere in a front three and has also been known to play in an attacking-midfield role.
Pantović joined Bochum back in 2018 and made over 100 appearances for the club both in the 2. Bundesliga and most recently the Bundesliga.
Last season, the forward featured 32 times in all competitions scoring eight goals and assisting on three occasions.
Perhaps his most memorable moment from the last campaign was the goal he scored on matchday 11 against Hoffenheim when he netted from 66 metres to make it 2-0.
Union’s sporting director Oliver Ruhnert welcomed the new signing by saying: “Milos comes with Bundesliga experience, is highly motivated and in the prime of footballer age. In addition, he has demonstrated his flexibility on the offensive in both the first and second leagues.”
