According to Kicker, clubs in the Bundesliga as well as Spain, Italy, and England are interested in Christoph Baumgartner from TSG Hoffenheim.
As per the report, the Austrian international is aiming to take the next step in his career. With the possibility of Hoffenheim being relegated from the Bundesliga, it’s no surprise one of the club’s main assets is thinking of a change of scenery.
Partially because of TSG’s current financial and league situation the 23-year-old midfielder is attracting teams from all over Europe.
No specific Bundesliga team is mentioned in the report but it’s noted that several clubs around Germany would be interested in purchasing Baumgartner. This is also the same for clubs in Italy and Spain. Kicker previously reported that clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea have kept tabs on the Austrian.
Despite Hoffenheim’s dreadful season so far, Baumgartner has been one of the stand-out players. With five goals and four assists, the midfielder is the club’s top scorer alongside Andrej Kramarić.
