Union Berlin and Freiburg have reportedly emerged as the front-runners in the race to sign Fortuna Düsseldorf’s Dawid Kownacki.

Sky Germany reports that Union Berlin and Freiburg are the most likely destinations for Fortuna Düsseldorf striker Dawid Kownacki.
The two Bundesliga clubs are said to be leading the race for the Polish striker, who is out of contract this summer.
Fellow Bundesliga sides Eintracht Frankfurt, Mainz and Gladbach are also thought to be in the running.
Kownacki, 25, has made 25 appearances for the 2. Bundesliga side this season, racking up 12 goals and seven assists.
