As reported by Bild, Leroy Sané is a doubt for Bayern Munich’s Champions League clash against PSG.
The 27-year-old suffered an ankle injury during training on Monday but continued to train. But now according the report, the injury more serious than initially feared. Sané has suffered a capsule injury in his ankle and will be out for several days. That means that not only is Saturday’s Bundesliga game against Stuttgart in doubt, but also Bayern’s Champions League tie against PSG on Wednesday.
Although Sané has started on the bench in the last couple of games, it’s a blow to Bayern Munich, who currently lead PSG 1-0. The German’s explosive pace and neat dribbling can decide a game.
Bayern Munich lead the Bundesliga after 22 games but are level points with Borussia Dortmund. Julian Nagelsmann’s side also hold a 1-0 lead against PSG ahead of their Champions League Round of 16 2nd leg.
