Sport1 reports that Daichi Kamada is to replace the outgoing Mahmoud Dahoud at Borussia Dortmund, not Jude Bellingham.
Dortmund have a separate list for candidates that they hope can replace Bellingham who could potentially leave in the summer. On the list are: Manu Koné (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Mohammed Kudus (Ajax), Enzo Le Fee (Lorient). While a return for İlkay Gündoğan is also an option as his contract at Manchester City expires in the summer.
Kamada is set to join Dortmund in the summer on a free transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt, with the Japan international signing a five-year contract. While Dahoud is set to leave Dortmund when his contract expires at the end of the season, ending his five-year stay at the club.
The money that Dortmund will receive from a Bellingham departure means they could easily afford the options on their list despite interest from clubs with more financial power. A return for Gündoğan would not make sense when it comes to replacing Bellingham, with the three younger players on the list better fits at replacing the 19-year-old.
