Hertha Berlin have rejected two offers from PSV for Dodi Lukebakio, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
PSV’s latest approach was a reported €7.5m plus €2m in bonuses but Hertha Berlin are holding out for a fee closer to €15m. Sevilla also made an offer to sign the Belgian on loan with an option to buy, which was also rebuffed.
Lukebakio (25) has featured in all but one Bundesliga game for Hertha Berlin this season, scoring seven goals and creating two. During the summer, he rejected offers from Sampdoria, Espanyol and Olympiacos to remain at Hertha this season but down in 17th, a change may happen.
It’s clear that PSV are searching the market for a wide player before tomorrow’s deadline. The Eredivisie club have also shown significant interest in signing Borussia Dortmund’s Thorgan Hazard (29), but are yet to make a concrete approach. BVB would allow the Belgian to leave before tomorrow’s deadline.
