VfL Bochum are apparently set to complete their third January signing. After securing the services of Keven Schlotterbeck and Pierre Kunde Malong on loan, the Revierklub should also soon pick up attacking midfielder Moritz Broschinski from BVB II. The pending transaction was initially reported by Bochum’s fan magazine “Tief in Westen” and North-Rhine Westphalia’s “Ruhrnachrichten”. Germany’s Kicker Magazine confirms these reports.
The 22-year-old has scored three goals and bagged an assist for Dortmund’s reserve side in the 3. Bundesliga. Whether or not the Finsterwalde native counts as a candidate for the Bochum first team remains to be seen, but the East German is considered to be a decent prospect capable of working several buttressing attack positions. Broschinski joined Dortmund from Cottbus in the summer of 2020.
