After impressing during RB Leipzig’s training camp in Abu Dhabi, André Silva is in line to start his club’s first Bundesliga game of 2023 against Bayern Munich on January 20.
“André is in outstanding condition,” RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose is quoted as saying by Bild and Kicker.
“When you see how he presented himself in the training camp, moving around and scoring goals, that’s good.
“You can assume that he starts against Bayern if he stays healthy.”
The Portuguese striker has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 24 games for Leipzig this season.
