Serie A newcomers Monza have now made contact in an attempt to sign Celtic full-back Josip Juranovic.
It was previously reported that Monza are only interested in the Croatian but Gianluca di Marzio has now stated that contact has been made by the Serie A outfit.
Adriano Galliani’s club met the agents of Juranovic in Milan today to understand the situation of the Croatian full-back. Celtic want €8 million to sell Juranovic this month and Monza are now looking to set up a deal which will be an initial loan with the obligation to buy him permanently in the summer. Galliani is considering how to structure the deal to bring Juranovic to Monza this month.
Juranovic has impressed for Celtic since joining and did well for the national team in the World Cup as well, helping them finish third. Torino have been linked with the player, so have Manchester United and Chelsea.
