It looks as if German youth international Kevin Schade will get his targeted switch to the Premiership. Sky journalists Lyall Thomas and Florian Plettenberg report that the 21-year-old Freiburg striker travelled to Brentford for a medical today. The London-based EPL side is set to sign the Potsdam native on a loan deal that contains an obligatory purchase option.
At present, there is no information as to what would trigger the purchase clause. One could potentially assume Schade would become a permanent player with the Bees if they manage to avoid relegation. Plettenberg reports that Schade will fill the Freiburg coffers to the tune of €20 million.
Sky now reports that the medical has been passed and Schade will be introduced shortly.
