The former Inter and Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has spoken of his intention to return to the football field as soon as possible.
Nainggolan, 34, caught heavy media attention while playing for Royal Antwerp back in his homeland of Belgium for allegedly smoking on the club’s bench back in October.
This is only the last event in a long line of scandalous moments from a player who has never shied away from his bad boy reputation.
The former international star however has revealed in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, that he intends to play again.
“I want to return to the field as soon as possible”, Nainggolan declared, before speculating on where he could possibly step onto the pitch again:
“In Cagliari? I don’t know. There is still no negotiation. Let’s wait.”
