Following chemotherapy and several operations due to a testicular cancer diagnosis, striker Sebastien Haller has returned and completed training tests to the delight of Dortmund fans.
In a video posted on social media, Haller said, “Hello guys, I’m finally back. It was not that easy but with your support it was better and easier to do. I’m just looking forward to seeing you in the stadium for some victories.”
It’s still unclear when Haller will make his full return to team training, but he will travel with the squad to Spain later this week.
BVB play Düsseldorf and Basel in test matches before league play begins once again on Sunday, January 22nd against Augsburg.
