As reported by BILD, Hoffenheim have reached an agreement with Kasper Dolberg (25). The Denmark international, currently on loan at Sevilla, will end his loan spell with the Spanish side and join TSG on loan with a reported purchase option.
Dolberg is expected to fly to Hoffenheim’s Algarve training camp on January 3. This comes after TSG sporting director Alexander Rosen has been scouting the market for a forward following injuries to Munas Dabbur and Ihlas Bebou, the latter is yet to play this season.
Dolberg has played just 196 minutes of league football for Sevilla this season since joining on loan from OGC Nice in the summer. Since joining Nice from Ajax in 2019 for a reported €20.5m, the Dane has scored 24 and created seven across all competitions for the French club, who will allow Dolberg to leave on a permanent basis.
Hoffenheim are missing a goal threat in the area with Dabbur and Christoph Baumgartner scoring a combined eight Bundesliga goals this season.
