Juan Miranda gave an interview to Real Betis’ media, which also appeared on AS.
The 22-year-old believes that the international break came at a good time for Los Verdiblancos:
“It’s been a different break, new for everyone. I think it’s also been good for us because we’ve come back from some strange games and, above all, it has allowed injured players to return. It’s been good for me to rest, I know I’ve been average this last year and I hope to make a leap in quality now after the break.”
“I’m at an age of growth. A player knows when there are ups and downs, when he’s bad and when he’s good. Hopefully 2023 will bring me good things,” he added.
Even though he knows that fixtures will come thick and fast in the new year, Miranda is looking forward to the club season restarting:
“January is going to be intense but very nice. I hope that every year will be like this, that we will have a lot of games because it doesn’t get tiring. We want to be playing Thursdays and Sundays until June.”
The Andalucían is also excited about the Spanish Super Cup:
“In the Super Cup the rivals are at the highest level but we are two games away from another title. It’s an exciting opportunity.”
