Borussia Dortmund today confirm that preferred candidates Peter Hermann (70) and Sebastian Geppert (38) have joined the club as coaching staff of Edin Terzić.
Hermann arrives at the club as one of the most respectable coaches in German football. The 70-year-old was a member of the Bayern Munich side that won the 2013 Champions League title and was a treble winner in Jupp Heynckes’ team that year, winning the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal alongside the European trophy.
Geppert was the head coach of BVB U17s before serving as one of Terzić’s assistants between December 2020 and June 2021 before returning to coach the U17 side. The appointment of Terzić as head coach has seen Geppert promoted as one of his assistants.
