Thomas Müller is fit to play against Japan after recovering from an injury.
Germany coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that Thomas Müller is fully fit for Wednesday’s World Cup clash with Japan, having worked his way back from a hip problem.
“He is definitely an option,” Hansi Flick told reporters at today pre-match press conference.
“He did a very good job today in training. We are happy with him. He gives us one more option.”
Flick also commented on the absence of Leroy Sané, who is sidelined with a knee injury.
“It’s bitter that we have to do without Leroy. He can decide a game with his quality alone. We hope he can play on Sunday.”
