Sevilla are interested in making a move for Blackburn Rovers’ Ben Brereton Díaz this coming January, report Estadio Deportivo.
The Championship club have put a €20m price tag on the Chilean international in the past, but it is believed that the club are willing to accept offers lower than their previous valuation as Brereton’s contract with Blackburn Rovers is set to expire at the end of the current season.
Jorge Sampaoli has identified the striker as his number one target for the January transfer window as he tries to rebuild Sevilla.
Los Nervionenses have been struggling to find goals so far this season as they find themselves closer to the relegation zone than to the European places.
Brereton, who has eight goals in 16 games in the Championship, could prove to be a useful addition to Sevilla’s forwards department as they hope to climb up the league standings.
