Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix is facing an uncertain future at Wanda Metropolitano, with reports circulating that he is looking for an exit.
The Portuguese superstar’s relationship with manager Diego Simeone has deteriorated due to the lack of game time this season, with Felix not starting in the last five games.
Simeone also left Felix on the bench during the recent 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano.
The 22-year-old vented his frustration by throwing off his training bib on the sidelines during the Champions League game against Club Brugge last week.
Felix is looking for greener pastures and is ready to leave Los Rojiblancos in the January transfer window.
Spanish outlet AS reports Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are keeping tabs on the Portuguese international.
PSG are leading the race after initiating contact with Felix’s entourage.
Led by football advisor Luis Campos, the French giants are exploring the options to bring Felix in the winter transfer window.
A loan move looks a feasible option since Atletico will demand a hefty transfer fee for Felix, who is contracted to the club until 2026.
Signing a striker remains on the agenda of Campos after failing to do so in the summer transfer window.
The Portuguese director is an admirer of Felix and believes the latter can be a key player in Christophe Galtier’s project.
Similarly, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also in the market for a new centre-forward.
The Red Devils had a bid worth €135 million turned down by the Spanish capital club for Felix this summer.
However, Atletico aren’t rushing to make any decision on their record signing. They are hoping to see Felix regain his form with the Portugal national team at the 2022 World Cup.
