After failing to sign Robin Gosens in the summer, it’s reported by ‘Relevo’ that Die Werkself are likely to try again in the winter.

According to ‘Relevo’ information, Leverkusen still want to sign Robin Gosens this winter, after nearly acquiring the German international in the summer. The Inter Milan left wing-back has struggled finding playing time ever since his return from Atalanta on loan.
This comes to no surprise, as it’s clear that Xabi Alonso needs an attacking left-footed midfielder to match Jeremie Frimpong’s production on the right wing. Mitchel Bakker and Piero Hincapie are not the right profiles to fit this need.
Gosens’ contract in Italy expires in 2026.
