Herbert Hainer to remain Bayern president

Herbert Hainer was re-elected as Bayern München president at the yearly general meeting on Saturday.

Herbert Hainer is set to remain Bayern München president until at least 2025.
The 68-year-old, who succeeded Uli Hoeness in 2019, was re-elected as president of the club for another three years at the annual general meeting yesterday, receiving 83.3 percent of the votes.

“I’m very happy that our members appreciate the work we’ve done in the last twelve months, and also the dialogue we have had,” commented Hainer.

“We’ll continue to build on this and I see it as a confirmation of our work. Overall, the meeting went very well with many constructive contribution. I’m satisfied.”
