Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Joe Scally has admitted he’s attracted to the English Premier League.
“[Playing there] would be great. The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world,” the American right-back told Rheinische Post.
“Language wise, I’d get along well there too,” he added.
In terms of where he wants to end his career, Scally would like to go back to the place where it all began for him.
“At some point I definitely want to play for New York City FC again. That’s where it all started, which is why I can imagine finishing my career there.”
Scally has previously admitted that he supported FC Barcelona while growing up.
“My favorite team was Barcelona, and my idol was Dani Alves. He was my favorite right-back,” Scally said in an exclusive interview with Bulinews last year.
