Celtic stars Reo Hatate, Liel Abada and Jota have the potential to become the club’s ‘record’ sales, according to Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph.
The trio, who earn a combined £43,000-per-week, have all impressed for the Hoops in recent months, playing a key role in their success under manager Ange Postecoglou.

Hatate arrived at Celtic back in January after completing a £1.4 million move from J-League outfit Kawasaki Frontale and quickly established himself as a crucial cog in the midfield.
The Japan international has racked up 10 goal contributions in 31 appearances across all competitions for the Glasgow giants, forming a formidable partnership alongside Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley.
Meanwhile, Abada has been a revelation since making the switch from Maccabi Petah Tikva in July 2021, reducing Celtic legend James Forrest to a fringe role within Postecoglou’s setup.
In 66 outings, the 21-year-old has registered 21 goals and 12 assists, playing a major part in his side claiming the Scottish Premiership title and League Cup crown last term.
And fellow winger Jota has been equally as impressive for Celtic, finding the back of the net on 18 occasions in 52 games while also setting up a further 19 strikes for his teammates.
What has Joseph said about Celtic?
Joseph has informed GiveMeSport that he believes the talented trio could be sold for significant fees over the coming years due to their outstanding displays at Celtic Park.

He said: “Because the markets that they’re selling to are getting bigger, and Celtic’s market, I know it’s not going at the same kind of level, but Celtic are able to command higher fees, and they will be able to in the future.
“And it wouldn’t surprise me if someone like Hatate, or even Abada, Jota become the next record-fee received for sales.”
Who is the most likely to depart Celtic next summer?
At present, the £25m fee Celtic received for Kieran Tierney from Arsenal is their record sale, and Abada may well be the next player who comes close to fetching a similar figure.
The Israel international has recently switched agents, changing from Dudu Dahan for Hussein Al Gaaod’s FSB stable, who also look after Antonio Rudiger and Celtic’s Josip Juranovic.
Abada’s decision has sparked speculation that Abada could be edging towards the exit door, although his current contract is not due to expire until the summer of 2026.
Crystal Palace were tentatively linked to Abada in the previous transfer window, and if he continues to go from strength to strength, then they will surely be just one of many potential suitors.
