Barcelona star Rodri has circled a date on the club’s schedule in red, for his planned comeback from injury.
Midfielder Rodri was of course condemned to a spell on the sidelines earlier this week. After featuring from the off in Barcelona’s Champions League showdown with Aston Villa, the 30-year-old was hooked from proceedings at half-time after picking up a fitness issue.
Following a round of medical tests back in Catalunya’s capital, Rodri was diagnosed with a hamstring injury, ruling him out for an unspecified period.
If the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, though, then the World Cup winner already appears to have set his sights on a return date.
As per a report from Diario Sport:
‘These last few hours, the sensations have been really positive, which makes Rodri think that it is possible that he will be available for the European match on December 8 against Manchester City at the Spotify Camp Nou.’
